Dyslexia Testing - Our Testing Service


We provide two different types of assessments: 1. Dyslexia assessment, and 2. Dyslexia assessment with an evaluation of cognitive processing.

1. Dyslexia Assessment

This is a diagnostic assessment that evaluates your child's different reading skills, basic academic skills (spelling and mathematics) expressive and receptive vocabulary and intellectual functioning. This is a standard assessment of Dyslexia and the results are adequate to diagnose the disorder. 
 

2. Dyslexia Assessment and Cognitive Processing Assessment

We provide an option of assessing your child's cognitive processes involved in reading (successive processing, simultaneous processing and attention). In case Dyslexia IS diagnosed, it is useful to ascertain which cognitive processes are disrupted and associated with the reading disability. In case Dyslexia is NOT diagnosed, the evaluation of cognitive processes can shed light on a possible processing deficit.

NOTE : The evaluation of cognitive processes is NOT necessary to test and diagnose Dyslexia. We only offer this option as a way of finding out additional information about your child's functioning.
